Lead Pastor

Pastor Patrick Yu Wang

Patrick was born in 1975 in Nanjing, China, and comes from a family of four generations of Christians. He was baptized at the age of 16 in a house church in Nanjing and has since been actively involved in ministry in both Chinese and English-speaking churches in China, UK, and Canada.

Pastor Introduction

He holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Nanjing University Medical School, a Master’s degree in Christian Studies from China Reformed Theological Seminary in Taiwan, and a Master of Theology (ThM)
from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in the United States.

Patrick is a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and has previously served as a Ruling Elder.
In addition to being the church-planting pastor of Grace Providence Church, he also serves as the Executive Director
of Friends of CRTS in the United States and cooperates with Ligonier Ministries.

Patrick and his wife, Lan, immigrated to the Greater Vancouver area almost twenty years ago and have two children.
